In 2007 Brandon started his drift career in an AE86, just going to local events and having fun. Shredding tires and chilling with homies, that is what it’s all about right?! After deciding to take the next step in his drift career Brandon switched chassis and moved into an s13. He kicked off his pro career in 2009 when he started driving Vegas Pro Am. While still doing it for fun, things started to get more serious and the 2JZ was born. RUN 2JZ has been his motto since swapping the motor, with a line of shirts and stickers available for purchase.
Last year Formula Drift kicked off another sub series that would participate in 4 of the 7 rounds. Brandon participated in not only Pro but also the new series Pro 2. With stops at Homestead, Monroe, Texas, and Irwindale he was able to podium at 2 of the 4 events allowing him to keep his Pro license. He is also participating in Pro2 this year as well as all the Pro stops.
The thing about Brandon that stands out most is he has a lot of heart. He doesn’t care if he wins or not. He just wants to go out there and perform at his best, give the crowd a show, and battle with the best.
